The Housekeeping Daily Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for resort guests.
- Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms according to resort standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities.
- Clean bathrooms, floors, furniture, windows, and balconies/terraces.
- Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, drinking water, tissues, and minibar items
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and recreational facilities.
- Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies properly.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Handle lost-and-found items in accordance with resort procedures.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and time management skills.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Honest, reliable, and responsible.
