About the job
- Reporting to: Regional Head of Supply Chain
- Context & Core Responsibilities
- Organize and implement the HSE program based on requests from local site management in accordance with company needs.s
- Ensure that HSE processes match local legal requirements and company compliance rules.
- Support in developing processes and procedures that improve the quality of HSE management outcomes
- Conduct risk assessment and undertake corrective and preventive measures to ensure a proper environment and health for the organization.
Ensure all employees are properly informed about the working, environmental,l and safety policies of the organization; ensure visitors are aware of the basic HSE rules
- Prepare reports and presentations regularly (e.g., TIR reports) for all employees or specified management.
- Review and update internal HSE policies and procedures
- Renew/apply for permits/certificates needed for chemical production w.r.t. local laws
- Execute internal audits and support external audits on HSE topics
- Support in Global HSE audits at other sites if needed
- Manage the local site security team
- Might be partially involved in projects
Continuous Implementation of ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 documentation, and any updates in business processes are reflected in the Management System Documentation.
- Implementation of the Operational HSE System at the Indonesia site complies with Global requirements and as per Local Regulation.
- Qualifications/Competences
- Related University degree
- Min. 6 years of progressive work experience in the chemical industry
- Fluent in English language
- Advanced level of learning ability
- Experience in project management
- Minimum Academic / Colleges (local / abroad), preferably a bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Some formal courses/training on ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 version. Preferably to have a lead auditor training certificate.
Some formal courses on HSE / Basic Safety. Prefer-ably to have a General OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) Practitioner certificate (Ahli K3 Umum) & Chemical OHS Practitioner (Ahli K3 Kimia) certificate.
