- Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and manage financial information within the accounting system.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Assist in preparing and submitting tax returns, including VAT, GST, and corporate tax.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely payments.
- Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably with experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Tax experience is an advantage.
Skills
- Good understanding of general accounting practices and financial statements.
- Good knowledge of local and international taxation.
- Brevet Tax A & B certification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems, such as GF, SAP, QuickBooks (QB), Xero, and Accurate.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Able to work consistently with good attention to detail.
- Based in Batam
