Informatics Teacher

Informatics Teacher is responsible for delivering effective Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education to senior high school students, developing their digital literacy and technology skills, and ensuring that learning activities align with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.

Responsibility

• Plan and deliver ICT lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, practical activities, and student assessments.
• Teach essential ICT concepts, digital literacy, computer applications, and relevant technology skills.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Integrate technology and interactive learning methods to enhance student engagement.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leaders to support academic programs and student development.
• Keep up to date with technological developments and relevant ICT teaching methodologies.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, ICT Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching ICT or Computer Science at the senior high school level.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of ICT concepts, digital literacy, computer applications, and educational technology.
• Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
• Experience teaching in a senior high school with an international curriculum, preferably Cambridge, is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about education, technology, and student development.
