About the Role
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled
- Interior Architecture Drafter
to join us. In this role, you will transform design concepts into accurate technical drawings and construction documentation for interior architecture projects. You will work closely with architects, interior designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and meet project standards.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys precision, organization, and bringing creative ideas to life through high-quality technical documentation.
- Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural and interior design drawings using CAD and/or BIM software.
- Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, joinery details, and construction details.
- Develop complete drawing sets for construction purposes.
- Coordinate drawings with architects, interior designers, structural, MEP, and other consultants.
- Update drawings based on design revisions and site conditions.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Create furniture layouts, finish schedules, door/window schedules, and material specifications.
- Review shop drawings and assist in resolving technical issues during construction.
- Conduct site measurements and prepare as-built drawings when required.
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing revisions.
Qualifications
- Required
- Minimum
- 1 years
- of drafting experience in interior or architecture.
- Proficiency in
- AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of
- SketchUp
- Revit
- , or other BIM software.
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret design sketches and convert them into technical documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Preferred
- Experience in hospitality, commercial, retail, or residential interior projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Familiarity with rendering software (Lumion, Enscape, Twinmotion, or similar).
- Experience preparing millwork and custom furniture drawings.
