Interior Designer

The Interior Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing interior design concepts for property and hospitality projects, including villas, residences, and commercial spaces.

This role ensures the delivery of creative, functional, and high-quality interior designs that align with the company’s brand standards, project objectives, and target market. The position involves close collaboration with project, procurement, and construction teams to translate design concepts into practical implementation on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Development
• Develop concept design, space planning, mood boards, and material selections for interior projects.
• Prepare and present design proposals that reflect project requirements, functionality, and aesthetics.
• Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand identity and project vision.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to integrate design solutions.
• Technical Drawings & Documentation
• Produce detailed layout plans, elevations, sections, and interior detailing drawings.
• Prepare FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) specifications, finishes schedules, and material boards.
• Coordinate with drafters for technical documentation and shop drawings.
• Review and approve shop drawings and material samples from contractors or suppliers.
• Project Coordination & Site Supervision
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants during the design and construction phases.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
• Address design-related issues and provide solutions for on-site adjustments.
• Support procurement by evaluating materials, samples, and custom furniture prototypes.
• Budgeting & Procurement Support
• Prepare and review cost estimates for interior works and FF&E packages.
• Liaise with procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency and quality in material sourcing.
• Ensure selected materials meet aesthetic, functional, and maintenance requirements.
• Quality Control & Handover
• Conduct final inspections of interior finishes and furniture installations.
• Prepare punch lists and ensure corrective works are completed before handover.
• Support preparation of as-built documentation and handover manuals.
• Qualifications & Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 4–6 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably in property development, hospitality, or resort projects.
• Proven experience in both concept design and site implementation.
• Familiarity with luxury villa, hotel, or residential design projects is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, color theory, and lighting principles.
• Knowledge of FF&E design, detailing, and documentation.
• Familiarity with construction methods, fit-out standards, and local building codes (SNI).

Language

Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
