PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH) is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for Banking Industry to join our team on a contract basis. Based in South Jakarta, Jakarta, this role offers the opportunity to lead critical technology initiatives within the banking sector. As an IT Project Manager for Banking Industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects that directly support banking operations and digital transformation objectives. This position is pivotal in ensuring that complex IT initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, whilst maintaining compliance with banking industry regulations and standards.

• Key responsibilities
• Plan, initiate, and define project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets for IT projects within the banking sector
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk management strategies, and contingency plans
• Lead and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Monitor project progress against established timelines and key performance indicators, providing regular status updates to senior management
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
• Manage project budgets and financial tracking, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial constraints
• Ensure compliance with banking industry regulations, security standards, and organisational policies throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with banking business stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Oversee quality assurance processes and conduct testing to ensure deliverables meet banking industry standards and specifications
• Document project outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for continuous improvement
• Manage stakeholder communications and facilitate issue resolution to maintain project momentum
• What we're looking for
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
• Proven expertise in managing complex technology projects from initiation through closure
• Strong knowledge of banking industry regulations, compliance requirements, and security standards
• Professional project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent
• Demonstrated proficiency with project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches
• Experience with project management tools and software (such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms)
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Understanding of banking IT infrastructure, core banking systems, and payment solutions
• Familiarity with IT governance, risk management, and security frameworks relevant to banking
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
