- Key responsibilities
- Planning, scheduling and coordinating all aspects of IT infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion
- Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams
- Managing project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within financial parameters
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues that may impact project delivery
- Facilitating communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management to ensure alignment and transparency
- Monitoring project progress against established milestones and key performance indicators
- Leading and coordinating with infrastructure teams, vendors, and third-party partners to ensure successful project implementation
- Documenting project requirements, specifications, and outcomes in accordance with organisational standards
- Conducting post-implementation reviews and identifying lessons learned to improve future project delivery
- Ensuring compliance with IT governance frameworks, security standards, and regulatory requirements throughout project execution
- What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, with substantial focus on infrastructure projects
- Proven expertise in managing complex IT infrastructure initiatives, including data centre, network, or cloud infrastructure deployments
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, systems, and best practices
- Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Experience with project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Sound understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance requirements
- Experience with vendor management and procurement processes is highly desirable
