Job Description
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Conduct API testing using Postman and validate system integrations.
- Perform database validation and data integrity testing to ensure application accuracy and consistency.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.
- Support release readiness by executing manual test cycles, regression checks, and quality validation within the agreed delivery process.
- Prepare and maintain testing documentation, test reports, and quality metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending testing and quality assurance best practices.
- Perform manual testing across functional behavior, user interface/display, and basic performance aspects of the application.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer or Software Tester.
- Experience in web application testing, mobile application testing, API testing using Postman, and database validation.
- Experience using project and documentation management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test documentation and test cases.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with Katalon and Cucumber-based test scenarios is an advantage.

- Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Katalon and Cucumber-based testing documentation or test scenarios is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SQL and database query validation.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration testing.
- Experience working with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of performance, load, and security testing methodologies.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- ISTQB or other QA-related certifications are an advantage.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale application development projects.
