• Job Overview
• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
• Automation Equipment Technician

to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot our automated systems and hardware. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring continuous operational efficiency by performing preventive maintenance, resolving hardware and system errors, leading new equipment deployments, and conducting technical training for end-users.

• Key Responsibilities
• Technical Support & Hardware Maintenance
• : Provide hands-on technical support for all automation hardware, sensors, controllers, and mechanical components.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
• : Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware failures, electrical faults, and system software errors to minimize operational downtime.
• Deployment & Testing

: Assist in hardware deployment for new automation projects, including assembly, wiring, system calibration, and testing before final commissioning.

• Preventive Maintenance (PM)
• : Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance routines, component calibrations, and periodic system health checks.
• User Training & Documentation

: Train end-users and operators on standard operating procedures, routine safety checks, and basic system troubleshooting. Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and hardware issues.

• Requirements & Qualifications
• Education

: Diploma or Nitec/Higher Nitec (ITE) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.

Experience

: 1–2 years of experience in technical support, equipment maintenance, or automation systems preferred. Fresh graduates with relevant project/internship experience are welcome to apply.

• Technical Skills
• Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and mechatronic systems (e.g., PLCs, sensors, pneumatic systems, motors).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency using basic hand tools, multimeters, and diagnostic instruments.
• Soft Skills
• : Strong analytical problem-solving skills, good communication abilities, and a collaborative team attitude.
