Job Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to support application performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform bug fixing, debugging, and application performance optimization.
• Manage source code and participate in version control workflows using GitLab.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Java Backend Developer or Software Engineer.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Good knowledge of SQL, including database design, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experienced in using GitLab for source code management and version control.
• Familiar with RESTful API development and backend integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
