About the Role
As a Junior Solutions Engineer, you will help bridge customers, product, and engineering. You will support customers in adopting and integrating the TechMaju platform while contributing to solution design, technical implementation, quality validation, product improvement, and emerging AI initiatives.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with customers, and learning through real-world implementations. You'll have opportunities to work across traditional platform implementations as well as AI-assisted and agentic development workflows, with increasing responsibility as your capabilities grow.
Responsibilities
- Customer Success & Technical Support
- Support customers through onboarding, implementation, and adoption of the TechMaju platform.
- Investigate, reproduce, validate, and document customer-reported technical issues, collaborating with the engineering team when needed.
- Help customers apply technical best practices and make effective use of platform capabilities.
- Solution Design & Integration
- Assist in designing and implementing solutions for customer use cases using platform capabilities, APIs, and integrations.
- Build proof-of-concepts, prototypes, scripts, or automations to address customer requirements.
- Support deployment, configuration, testing, and optimization of customer solutions.
- Product & Innovation
- Gather customer feedback and contribute insights that help inform product improvements.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to test and validate new capabilities against customer requirements and use cases.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies that can improve customer outcomes and internal efficiency.
- AI & Agentic Engineering Initiatives
- Explore AI-assisted development tools, coding agents, and emerging agentic engineering practices.
- Assist in designing, testing, and evaluating AI-powered workflows and automation systems.
- Experiment with new tools and approaches that improve software delivery, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices around AI-native development workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in solutions engineering, implementation, technical consulting, technical support, software engineering, QA, or similar technical roles.
Fresh graduates with strong internships, university projects, personal projects, open-source contributions, or technical portfolios are welcome to apply.
- Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
- Understanding of APIs, databases, system integrations, and modern web technologies.
- Familiarity with software testing and QA fundamentals, including test cases, bug reproduction, validation, and clear issue reporting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, or automation tools is a plus.
- Experience with, or strong interest in learning, AI-assisted development workflows and emerging AI technologies.
- Bonus Skills
- Experience with any of the following is a plus, but not required:
- Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
- AI agents, workflow orchestration, evaluation frameworks, or automation systems.
- Prompt engineering, AI application development, or AI-powered productivity tools.
