About the role
We are seeking a driven and talented Junior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team at BC STUDIO (BCENTRUM BALI). In this full-time role, you will be responsible for assisting in structural design, preparing drawings, drafting and calculating BOQ, and supporting project coordination and site supervision. Familiar with structural software and able to work collaboratively within project deadlines.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Assisting senior engineers in the design and analysis of structural systems, including beams, columns, foundations, and other structural components
- Conducting structural calculations, modelling, and analysis using relevant software tools
- Preparing detailed structural drawings, specifications, and reports to support project delivery
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to ensure the successful execution of projects
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry standards, building codes, and engineering best practices
- Participating in site inspections
- Calculating BOQ
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the civil/construction industry
- Proficient in the use of structural design software, such as SAP2000, ETABS, or AutoCAD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose practical solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the Bali region
