• PT. Shoetown Mustika Indonesia is currently seeking a motivated and qualified professional to join our team as a
• Leather Inspection Staff
• This role is responsible for ensuring all incoming leather materials meet company quality standards before being used in production.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Footwear Technology, or a related field

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a relevant field
• Having SATRA certification is a plus

Strong understanding of footwear material inspection standards, including leather, synthetic leather, textiles, outsoles, insoles, adhesives, chemicals, accessories, and other footwear components

Good understanding of the footwear manufacturing process

Job Description

• Conduct inspection of incoming leather materials to ensure compliance with company quality standards
• Perform visual and physical inspection of leather materials, including thickness, color consistency, texture, and defects
• Evaluate incoming materials based on established inspection standards and specifications
• Identify, analyze, and report any non-conforming materials, and coordinate with relevant departments for corrective actions
• Ensure all materials from suppliers meet required quality standards before release to production
• Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare inspection and quality reports
• Work closely with Warehouse, Purchasing, and Production teams to ensure smooth material flow
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to incoming material quality
• Ensure all inspection activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and quality standards
