Legal, Compliance, and Risk Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Legal, Compliance & Risk Manager to lead our legal, compliance, and risk management functions and ensure our payment gateway business operates in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Job Description

Lead and supervise the Legal, Compliance, and Risk team to ensure effective execution of departmental responsibilities

Oversee legal matters, including contract drafting and review, corporate legal documentation, litigation, and coordination with external legal counsel.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, particularly Bank Indonesia regulations related to payment systems and PJP activities.

• Monitor regulatory updates and oversee regulatory reporting and submission requirements.
• Establish and maintain company policies, SOPs, compliance procedures, and risk management frameworks.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal, regulatory, operational, and business risks.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations, internal and external audits, and follow-up on findings and corrective actions.
• Provide strategic advice to management on legal matters, regulatory developments, compliance issues, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Law, Risk Management, or a related field. A Law degree is preferred.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in legal, compliance, or risk management, preferably in payment gateway, fintech, banking, or financial services.

• Previous experience in a managerial or team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian laws and regulations, particularly Bank Indonesia regulations related to payment systems and PJP activities.
• Experience in litigation, contract management, regulatory reporting, risk assessment, and audit coordination.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
