About the role
Join LUME Lighting Design as an Assistant Lighting Designer based in our Jakarta office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting our team of lighting designers in creating innovative and functional lighting solutions for a range of residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
- What you'll be doing
- Assisting the lighting design team with concept development, design calculations, and documentation
- Coordinating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements
- Conducting site surveys and measurements to inform the lighting design process
- Preparing lighting layouts, schedules, and technical specifications
- Collaborating with the team to select appropriate lighting fixtures and technologies
- Providing support during the installation and commissioning of lighting systems
- Maintaining project documentation and records
- What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a lighting design or architecture role
- Strong knowledge of lighting design principles, technologies, and industry standards
- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and DIALux
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
