Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end
- inbound & outbound logistics
- operations.
- Manage
- warehouse operations
- , inventory accuracy, material flow, and storage.
- Coordinate with
- Production, Procurement, and Sales
- to ensure smooth movement of materials.
- Manage
- transportation, distribution, fleet operations, and 3PL providers
- Ensure
- on-time deliveries
- , resolve logistics issues, and optimize logistics costs.
- Supervise logistics teams and ensure compliance with
- SOPs, safety standards, and operational procedures
- Coordinate
- export shipments
- , including loading & unloading, transport arrangements, and port operations.
Requirements
- Minimum
- 8 years of Logistics Operations
- experience, including
- 3+ years in a managerial role
Mandatory experience in Steel Manufacturing, Steel Distribution, Heavy Equipment, Metal Fabrication, or other Heavy Industrial Manufacturing.
Strong hands-on experience in
- Heavy Material Handling (22–30 tonne loads)
- Inbound & Outbound Logistics
- Transportation & Distribution
- Fleet Management & 3PL
- Export Shipments & Port Operations
- Fast Loading & Unloading Operations
- Logistics Safety & Compliance
- Proven experience arranging vehicles/trucks and handling local transportation challenges.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
