Job Description
- Collect, examine, and understand historical data.
- Perform data cleaning and preprocessing.
- Create data visualizations using Python.
- Develop baseline forecasting models, such as Linear Regression and Random Forest.
Perform feature engineering for time-series data, including lag features, rolling averages, rolling standard deviations, and time-based features such as hour, day, month, and seasonality.
- Assist in developing forecasting models.
- Train, validate, and test models using time-series evaluation methods.
- Evaluate model performance using metrics such as Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE).
- Assist in storing and managing machine learning model versions.
- Assist in developing REST APIs to provide access to forecasting results.
- Monitor data quality and model performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
