- What You'll Do
- Serve as technical support to the category (s) during new product creation / development
- Responsible for technical consistency of the product
- Drive to resolution of manufacturing, technical and quality challenges
- Monitor the factory on the commercialization process and coordinate wear test with Quality / Development /T1
Lead and drive ECRS methodology implementation in development & commercialization process to improve quality, speed and efficiency in manufacturing
Actively & effectively coach and mentor colleagues in technical shoe making and production processes
Support the creation of Best Practices for manufacturing to drive standardization, consistency and alignment between T1 supply base on basic manufacturing processes
- Responsible for several Factory facilities within one sourcing location
- What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or University degree
- in Chemical, Material, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical education.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- in the footwear industry, with deep hands-on expertise in technical development, commercialization, and mass production processes.
- Strong functional knowledge
- of footwear quality practices, standards, constructions, engineering, materials, and chemicals/adhesives.
- Proven track record
- in driving production process standardization, managing sample-to-production handovers, and implementing
- ECRS/Lean methodologies
- to improve manufacturing speed and efficiency.
- Experience in Quality KPIs
- , including claim analysis and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent future production issues.
- Proficiency in English
- is required; fluency in
- additional Asian languages
- is a strong plus to coordinate with regional T1 and T2 supply partners.
- Advanced IT literacy
- , particularly proficient in MS Office for data tracking and analysis.
- Exceptional leadership skills
with an energetic, methodical, and solution-oriented personality, serving as the "go-to person" for internal teams (Quality, Development, Planning, Materials) and external partners.
