About the role
Manager Rice Milling Plant responsible for overseeing all daily production processes at a rice milling facility. The role involves managing operational efficiency, quality control, machinery maintenance, inventory management, workplace safety, team leadership, and reporting to management.
- Key responsibilities
- Manage factory operations and oversee all daily production processes
- Ensure rice production results meet company quality standards, minimize weight loss, and control broken rice percentage
- Schedule and coordinate machinery maintenance
- Oversee raw material supply availability and manage incoming and outgoing goods in storage to maintain safe stock levels
- Ensure all workers comply with safety standards and maintain a clean factory environment free from husk waste
- Direct and evaluate the performance of machine operators and warehouse staff to maintain discipline and work productivity
- Prepare regular reports on production volume, field constraints, and operational efficiency for management
- About you
- Minimum D3/S1 education (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or Management)
Minimum 5 years of work experience in a Manager Rice Milling Plant position, preferably with direct experience in factory operations, rice milling industry, or corn/Grand Dryer operations
- Master basic technical knowledge of rice mill machinery maintenance
- Strong, firm, and communicative leadership capability in the field
- Proficient in computer operation (Microsoft Office) for report preparation
- Willing to be placed at the factory location in Palas, Lampung Selatan
