Job Description
- Define and execute product strategy, roadmap, and product positioning aligned with company goals.
- Translate market trends, customer insights, and business needs into actionable product concepts and development plans.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation, sourcing, sampling, production, until product launch.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams including R&D, Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, and Production.
- Build and maintain strong communication with overseas suppliers and vendors, especially Mandarin-speaking partners.
- Handle negotiation with suppliers regarding pricing, MOQ, specifications, production timeline, and quality standards.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
- Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and competitor activities to drive continuous product improvement.
- Ensure product development processes run according to timeline, cost targets, and company quality standards.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and product documentation for related stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Mandarin Literature, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as Product Manager, Product Development, Sourcing, or related role (preferably in manufacturing or import industry).
- Fluent in Mandarin, both spoken and written, for daily communication with overseas suppliers and business partners.
- Strong understanding of product development, sourcing process, and market dynamics.
- Experienced in handling supplier negotiation and product development coordination.
- Proven ability to manage product launches and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project tracking/reporting tools.
