Mandarin Teacher (Toddler–K2)

• Apple Tree Pre-School is looking for
• a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Chinese Mandarin Teacher

to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys creating a safe, happy, and engaging learning environment where children can learn, explore, and grow.

• Key responsibilities
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate Mandarin lessons and activities for students from Toddler to Kindergarten 2 (K2)
• Create a warm, nurturing, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

Support students' language development, listening comprehension, vocabulary, speaking, reading, and writing skills according to their age and learning level

• Use engaging teaching methods, including songs, games, storytelling, and hands-on activities
• Observe and monitor students' progress and provide appropriate support based on their individual needs
• Encourage positive behaviour and manage classroom routines effectively
• Write clear and informative Daily Activity Reports in English
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding students' progress, needs, and achievements
• Work collaboratively with Teacher Assistants, fellow teachers, and other school staff
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• About you
• Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Chinese Literature, Chinese Language Education, or a related field
• Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in preschool or early childhood education
• Minimum HSK Level 4 certification
• Patient, caring, energetic, creative, and responsible
• Able to adapt teaching methods to different age groups and learning abilities
• Confident in singing and familiar with children's songs, games, and interactive learning activities
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
