Role Description

The Administrative Assistant (Mandarin Translator) is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Semarang.

This role supports daily office operations by managing schedules, handling correspondence, organizing documents, and maintaining accurate records.

The position also requires translating written and verbal communication between Mandarin and English/Indonesian, including emails, reports, meeting notes, and client materials.

The Administrative Assistant will coordinate meetings, answer phone calls, greet visitors, and ensure professional communication with internal teams and external partners.

This role collaborates closely with executives and project teams to provide administrative support and assist with logistics and documentation related to client and donor engagement.

Qualifications

Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage schedules, records, documentation, and office workflows.

Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to handle calls, interact with clients, and support internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in Executive Administrative Assistance to support leadership with calendar management, meeting coordination, and confidential information.

• Fluency in Mandarin and proficiency in English (and/or Indonesian) for accurate translation of written and verbal communications.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and virtual meeting platforms).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Relevant education or training in administration, languages, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in an office or nonprofit setting is a plus.
