KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Study various work documents (e.g. sketches, data, specification sheets, engineering, calculations).
- Coordinate current projects (workshop, design office, jobsite).
- Write technical documentation.
- Participate in design meeting.
- Layout and design drawings.
- Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
- Draw freehand sketches of designs, trace finished drawings onto designated paper for the reproduction of blueprints, and reproduce working drawings on copy machines
- Any other duties deemed fit by Head of Department.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop plans, drawings, diagrams and models in accordance with effective specifications, standards and techniques.
- Detail drawings in both AutoCad and Inventor that meet or exceed the clients’ needs, budgets and expectations.
- Develop detailed mechanical designs.
- Detail drawings.
- Assist in field measurements and inspections.
- Manage electronic information in an effective and clear manner to allow all project personnel to access and understand the relevance of the information.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
