Mobile Developer iOS

• Own the architecture, quality, and performance of the iOS app end to end
• Build and maintain core flows: order entry, portfolio, watchlist, transaction history, onboarding

Handle real-time market data on the client — WebSocket lifecycle, reconnect strategy, snapshot + delta, conflation for slow connections, and keeping the UI smooth while thousands of instruments tick

Protect order integrity client-side: client order IDs, deduplication, idempotency, and correct order state machine handling when the network drops mid-submit

Financial-grade app security: certificate pinning, Keychain storage, biometric authentication, jailbreak detection, sensitive-screen protection

• Honest mobile observability: crash-free rate, hang rate, cold start, per-endpoint latency — and acting on the numbers
• Mature the iOS CI/CD pipeline: automated builds, signing, TestFlight, shortening commit-to-release time
• Release discipline: feature flags, staged rollout, genuinely tested rollback, and releasing outside exchange hours
• Review code, mentor engineers, and set the mobile team's engineering standards
• Work with compliance, risk, and security from the design stage rather than as a rubber stamp at the end
• 5+ years of iOS development, including at least 2 years carrying senior-level technical responsibility
• Deep Swift; comfortable in both UIKit and SwiftUI, with a view on when each belongs
• Modern concurrency: async/await, Structured Concurrency, GCD; Combine or equivalent
• Architecture at scale: MVVM / VIPER / TCA, modularization, dependency injection — and the reasoning behind the choice
• Networking: URLSession, WebSockets, caching, graceful behaviour on poor connections
• Testing: unit, snapshot, and UI tests, with a clear point of view on what is worth testing
• Performance and memory profiling with Instruments
• iOS CI/CD: Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions
• Able to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders — in this industry you will do it often
