About Us
Board Game Class is a provider of Strategic Board Game extracurricular activities that has partnered with national and international schools in Jakarta for more than 7 years. We help students develop critical thinking, collaboration, leadership, and social-emotional skills through fun, screen-free board games.
About the Role
As a Board Game Instructor, you will facilitate weekly board game sessions for students from kindergarten to senior high school at our partner schools. Your responsibilities:
- Explain game rules and guide students as they play
- Manage the class in a calm and positive way
- Help students reflect on what they learned from each game
- Learn new board games and adapt the rules for younger students
- Document activities through photos and videos
- Prepare session reports and student progress reports
Qualifications
- Current university student or S1 (bachelors) graduate, preferably in education or a related field
- Fluent in English (reading and speaking)
- Have experiences in learning and teaching board games
- Quick to learn and understand the rules of various board games
- Strong communication skills and confident speaking in front of groups of students
- Able to manage a class calmly, positively, and responsibly
- Willing to attend board game and teaching-method training provided by Board Game Class
- Experience as a teacher, facilitator, mentor, or student activity coach is a plus

- Pay range IDR 80.000-100.000 per session
- Schedule
- Work 2 or 3 days per week
- 1 or 2 sessions per day
- Sessions are held at partner schools in the Pluit, PIK, Cengkareng, Bekasi, Gading Serpong, Karawaci, BSD areas [afternoons after school]
- Days and number of sessions are arranged based on your availability
