- Develop accurate garment patterns based on designer sketches, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Create first patterns for sample development using CAD pattern-making software.
- Ensure patterns meet design intent, fit standards, construction requirements, and production feasibility.
Collaborate closely with Designers, Technical Designers, Merchandisers, and Sample Room throughout the product development process. Revise patterns based on fitting sessions, comments, and production requirements.
- Prepare grading for different sizes while maintaining garment proportions and fit consistency.
- Create and maintain marker layouts to optimize fabric utilization and minimize material waste.
- Review garment measurements and ensure compliance with company size specifications
- Maintain pattern archives and technical documentation for future reference.
Support production teams in resolving technical issues related to garment construction and fit. Ensure all patterns are completed within development timelines.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma/ High school in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Pattern Making, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pattern Maker in the apparel or fashion retail industry prefer ladies product.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, fabric behavior, and fit.
- Proficient in manual pattern making and CAD software (such as Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, Tukatech, or similar).
