About the role
- We are seeking a talented and experienced
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Specialist
- to join our growing team in
- Jeddah Saudi Arabia
- on a
- full-time basis
. This is a strategic position within our Electrical/Electronics Engineering division, where you will play a crucial role in designing, programming, and maintaining PLC systems for our industrial automation projects. You will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge automation solutions that drive operational efficiency for our clients and contribute significantly to PT Citra Centrapasific's continued growth and reputation in the sector.
- Key responsibilities
- Design, program and test PLC systems using industry-standard software and platforms
- Develop and maintain comprehensive PLC documentation, including system architecture, logic diagrams and technical specifications
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand automation requirements and translate them into effective PLC solutions
- Install, commission and troubleshoot PLC systems at client facilities to ensure optimal performance
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates and improvements to existing PLC installations
- Conduct on-site and remote diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues promptly
- Provide technical support and training to clients on PLC system operation and maintenance
- Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards, safety regulations and quality requirements
- Participate in continuous professional development and stay current with emerging PLC technologies and best practices
- What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
- Proficiency with major PLC platforms such as Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley CompactLogix, or equivalent systems
- Strong knowledge of ladder logic, structured text and other IEC 61131-3 programming languages
- Experience with SCADA systems, HMI (Human Machine Interface) design and integration
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to resolve complex technical problems
- Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, EtherCAT, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required
- Preferred: Experience with CAD software, electrical schematic design tools and project management methodologies
