Basic Requirements

5 years primary school experience (ages 4-11)

Can teach a range of subjects, including (but not necessarily all of these) English, Math, Social Studies, Science, Indonesian Language & Culture, Life Skills, PE, Art.

• Can teach a range of age groups, from 4 to 11.
• Must be energetic, active, and full of dynamic teaching ideas.
• Fluent in English.
• Well-organised, helpful, honest, reliable.
• Strong communication and disciplined classroom management skills.
• Creative and inspiring lesson delivery.
• Preference given to candidates who;
• Are artistically creative and can incorporate arts-based activities into other subjects.
• Have experience with project-based learning, bring innovative initiative to the program, and can work independently.
• Have plenty of experience with non-Indonesian English-speaking students.
• Demonstrate initiative and understanding for the school program (check the website).
• Are digitally literate - has a laptop, uses modern methods and digital tools in class.

The school is expanding so we are looking for leaders who can guide future new hires - you could very well progress into a head-teacher or management role.

The candidate should be competent with a range of teaching activities and subject areas, with emphasis on fun and positive energy, so confidence is important.

There are also regular excursions so a love for seeing the sites of Bali and having fun with the kids is required. There are physical activities/games so the candidate should be ready to participate.

• Teachers must be able to strike a good balance between being a comforting presence and a healthy source of discipline for students.
• The school is a fun, easy-going environment where teachers have minimal administrative requirements.

Teachers are on-site minimum 8.30am - 2.30pm, Monday - Friday (not including National Holidays and term breaks), teach for approximately 2-4 hours per day, and otherwise available for student supervision and assistance.

• We follow a standard schooling calendar, with four terms per year and breaks in between.
• Students are primarily English speaking - English is the language used throughout the school.

Lesson plans are provided and teaches are expected to bring creative initiative to the program, with curricular suggestions and enthusiasm for developing engaging ideas for activities.

The program is student-centered and teacher-enabled, with some aspects built around the Cambridge International curriculum.

Teachers must also be proficient with digital tech and using relevant teaching tools inside and outside the classroom, while a record (digital) must be kept of all activities along with student information and regular feedback for management and families.
