Share ownership with the Discovery Team Lead of core discovery metrics. translate metric movement into hypotheses and product initiatives

Design and run experiments (A/B tests) across every discovery touch point: homepage, search results, personalized recommendations, and CRM campaigns/notifications

Help build and refine the team's experimentation process from hypothesis through sizing to readout you'll be shaping this process from an early stage rather than

Inheriting an established playbook. Partner with data science/data engineering to understand recommendation and search ranking models deeply enough to discuss trade-offs (relevance vs. diversity, personalization vs. new-content discovery)

Account for OTT-specific behavior when prioritizing. discovery patterns differ meaningfully across web, mobile app, and TV/living-room surfaces (e.g., remote-control navigation constraints, different session lengths, different UI real estate)

Write requirements and prioritize the roadmap based on evidence rather than assumption or stakeholder request alone. Coordinate with the CRM team to keep discovery strategy consistent between on-platform (homepage, search, recommendations) and off-platform (push notifications, email, campaigns)

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research (user interviews, surveys, log analysis) to understand search and discovery behavior.

Kualifikasi

• Product & analytical fundamentals
• 1-3 years of product management experience, ideally with a product that includes a personalization, search, or recommendation component
• Strong analytical skills. comfortable working with raw data, not just finished dashboards, to form hypotheses
• Hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests end to end, including defining success metrics and statistically valid test duration
• Domain fluency

Familiar with the basics of recommendation systems and search ranking (e.g., personalization vs. cold-start, relevance ranking, CTR vs. conversion as a proxy metric)

Understands that discovery metrics are interconnected across channels. a change in one surface (e.g., homepage) can affect metrics elsewhere (e.g., search) and can think in systems rather than section by section
