Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in production, with at least 2 years in a Production Manager role within the Food & Beverage or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of production planning, capacity planning, and inventory management.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Halal standards, Food Safety Management Systems, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS).
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Experienced in monitoring and analyzing production KPIs, productivity, yield, waste, OEE, and production costs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively lead cross-functional teams.
Job Description
- Plan, manage, and oversee all production operations to ensure targets for quality, quantity, cost, and delivery are achieved.
- Ensure all production activities comply with established SOPs, GMP, HACCP, Halal requirements, and food safety standards.
- Monitor production output, raw material utilization, labor productivity, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with PPIC, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Engineering teams to ensure smooth production processes.
Analyze production performance, including KPIs such as output, yield, waste, downtime, OEE, and manufacturing costs, and implement improvement initiatives.
- Identify operational issues and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate production teams to enhance performance and capability.
Ensure the availability and optimal performance of production equipment through close coordination with the Engineering and Maintenance teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review and decision-making.
- Manage the production budget and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
