Project Coordinator

Job Description

Act as the primary local liaison between the project team and Indonesian stakeholders, including the land developer, local government/authorities, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear two-way communication and timely follow up.

Coordinate day to day administrative and logistical support for the project team, including travel, accommodation, transportation/driver arrangements, and office or site logistics.

Coordinate with the land developer on land related matters, site access, and permit requirements.

Assist with negotiating, drafting, and administering contracts and purchase orders with local suppliers, vendors, and service providers, and monitor delivery timelines and vendor commitments.

Maintain project documentation, correspondence, contract, and administrative records (in both Bahasa Indonesia and English) to ensure proper document control and version management.

Provide translation and interpretation support between Bahasa Indonesia and English for meetings, documents, and correspondence with local parties.

• Coordinate permit documentation and regulatory submissions with local government where required.
• Monitor and report administrative or coordination issues that may affect project schedule, budget, or local relationship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years
• of experience in project coordination, administration, liaison, or similar roles.
• Experience working with foreign/multinational teams and local Indonesian stakeholders is highly preferred.
• Experience coordinating with government authorities, land developers, suppliers/vendors, and handling project logistics is an advantage.
• Experience in greenfield projects or new plant setup is a plus.
• Good understanding of project administration, documentation, permits, and basic budget tracking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and liaison skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia & English
• with good written and spoken.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, self-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
