Project MEP Engineer

Educational Background and Major Requirements

(1) Full-time bachelor’s degree or above; candidates with relevant majors in Electrical Engineering (High Voltage / Low Voltage), Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Plumbing and Drainage, or similar disciplines are preferred;

• Language Requirements
• (1) Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred；

(2) Good English reading and writing skills, with the ability to read English equipment technical manuals and international engineering standards.

Technical and Site Management Competency Requirements

(1) Familiar with Indonesian National Standards (SNI) and relevant acceptance codes; proficient in construction technical requirements for electrical works, plumbing and drainage, fire protection, and HVAC;

(2) Proficient in using AutoCAD to prepare MEP construction drawings (shop drawings) and Microsoft Office to prepare project schedules, weekly reports, and other engineering documents.

(3) Capable of MEP detailed design development(shop drawings), preparation of construction detail drawings, technical briefings, and task-specific MEP construction method statements;

(4) Familiar with MEP subcontractor management, incoming material inspection and acceptance, concealed works inspection and acceptance, construction quality control, and K3 safety management requirements;

• (5) Capable of MEP system commissioning, completion acceptance, system handover, and preparation of as-built drawings.
• Industry Experience Requirements
• (1) At least 3 years of end-to-end project MEP management experience, with the ability to independently manage MEP construction works;

(2) Experience in MEP installation management on projects for Chinese-invested enterprises is preferred; familiarity with Chinese construction management practices is preferred;

• (3) Experience in construction management for data centre computer rooms is preferred;
• (4) Holders of an SKK Konstruksi certificate in Electrical or Mechanical discipline are preferred.
• General Competency Requirements

(1) Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with the Employer, workers, and relevant external parties;

(2) Strong sense of responsibility and a rigorous, detail-oriented work ethic;

(3) Willing to be stationed at the project site (Bekasi area) and able to work overtime and shifts in accordance with the project construction schedule.
