QA Automation Engineer

• Placement: at one of our clients (Banking Industry) at Jakarta Area
• Working System: Full WFO
• Employment Contract: PKWT/Contract (7 months duation)
• *Candidates who can join ASAP are preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation: Create, run, and maintain UI, API, and visual test scripts using Katalon Studio (Groovy/Java) and object repositories.
• Test Case Design: Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to design structured manual and automated test cases.

Defect Reporting & Tracking: Identify, log, prioritize, and track software bugs using Jira (or similar tools), providing detailed replication steps and execution logs.

Framework Maintenance: Maintain reusable Test Objects, Profiles, Data Files, and Custom Keywords within Katalon Studio.

Execution & Reporting: Execute daily/weekly automated regression suites and analyze test reports using Katalon TestOps, surfacing actionable failure insights to developers.

Collaboration: Work side-by-side with developers, product managers, and manual QA peers in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver sprint goals.

• Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree (S1) is a must
• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of professional experience in QA automation (web and/or mobile applications).
• Primary Tool: Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio and JMeter
• Scripting Skills: Basic understanding of Groovy, Java, or JavaScript for writing custom test scripts and assertions beyond record-and-play.

Testing Fundamentals: Strong grasp of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), regression testing, and black-box testing techniques.
