ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented and experienced QA QC Furniture Manager to join our dynamic team at PT Majati Furniture in Semarang, Central Java. As the QA QC Furniture Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality and consistency of our furniture products, aligning with our commitment to excellence. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing manufacturing business.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA-QC systems in line with US/EU standards.
• Lead Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspection processes to ensure product quality.
• Ensure all furniture products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and root cause analysis.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Provide training to the QA/QC team on inspection procedures, quality standards, and quality management systems.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare regular quality reports and recommend corrective actions to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
• Identify potential quality risks and implement preventive measures to minimize product defects.
• Evaluate inspection results and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable US/EU furniture regulations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in QA-QC within furniture manufacturing, preferably for export.
• Strong knowledge of US/EU furniture standards and customer quality requirements.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, FSC, CARB, Prop 65, CPSIA, and TSCA.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
