• PT. SP Manufacturing is seeking a
• QHSE Senior Engineer

to join our team in Batam Kota, Riau Islands. This is a position that plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, health, safety and environmental management across our manufacturing operations. As QHSE Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing comprehensive QHSE programs that protect our workforce, safeguard our assets and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. This position reports directly to senior management and is integral to our commitment to operational excellence and sustainable business practices.

Key responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive QHSE management systems and policies aligned with international standards and regulatory requirements

Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses across manufacturing facilities to identify potential safety, health and environmental risks

• Design and deliver QHSE training programs to all staff levels, ensuring workforce competency and awareness of best practices
• Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses and accidents, documenting findings and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation, environmental regulations and industry-specific standards
• Prepare and manage QHSE documentation, audit reports and performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders
• Lead inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with operational teams to optimize QHSE performance and embed a strong safety culture throughout the organization
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external QHSE consultants to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement
• Mentor and supervise junior QHSE staff, fostering professional development and technical excellence
• What we're looking for
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in QHSE management within manufacturing or industrial environments

Proven expertise in developing and implementing QHSE management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, ISO 45001 or equivalent standards) from electronic manufacturing company

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian health, safety and environmental legislation and regulations
• Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, safety audits and incident investigations
• Excellent understanding of quality assurance processes and continuous improvement methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and QHSE management software systems
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage stakeholders at all organisational levels
• Proven leadership capabilities and ability to drive QHSE culture change within manufacturing environments
• Professional QHSE certifications (such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent) are highly desirable
• Fluency in English language is essential
