The Cleanliness Quality Assurance (QA) Lead position is a crucial role in our company, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facilities. As the QA Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for our members, promoting their well-being and satisfaction.
You will collaborate closely with the Operations team and other stakeholders to establish and enforce cleanliness protocols that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The Cleanliness QA Lead also acts as the driver of performance improvement and supports the leadership team to influence positive change in the working environment and culture.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish comprehensive cleanliness standards, protocols, and procedures specific to gym facilities. This includes areas such as workout areas, locker rooms, showers, equipment, and common spaces. Ensure these standards are effectively communicated and consistently followed by staff.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the cleanliness of all gym areas. Utilize checklists, visual inspections, and other assessment methods to identify any deficiencies or areas for improvement. Implement quality assurance processes to monitor compliance with cleanliness standards and promptly address any issues or non-compliance.
Work closely with the L & D department for people development program and implementation, identify the Training Need Analysis (TNA) and Individual Development Plan (IDP) analysis.
Establish a system for capturing member feedback and complaints related to cleanliness. Implement processes to address and resolve these concerns in a timely and effective manner. Use member feedback to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance the cleanliness experience.
Collaborate with the Maintenance team to ensure prompt repairs or replacements of any equipment or facilities that may impact cleanliness. Work closely with the Operations team to align cleanliness initiatives with operational processes and schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to members.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and updating cleanliness protocols based on industry best practices, emerging trends, and member feedback. Stay updated on relevant regulations and guidelines related to cleanliness in gyms and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cleanliness management or a related field within the gym, fitness, or hospitality industry. Practical experience in maintaining cleanliness standards and implementing quality assurance processes is highly valued.
Any relevant certifications or training programs related to cleanliness, hygiene, quality assurance, or facility management in the related industry.
Familiarity with applicable regulations, guidelines, and industry standards specific to cleanliness and hygiene in gym facilities.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high cleanliness standards throughout the gym.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, members, and external stakeholders. Ability to address cleanliness concerns and promote cleanliness practices.
Strong analytical skills to assess cleanliness data, identify trends, and implement solutions for continuous improvement. Proactive problem-solving abilities to address cleanliness challenges effectively.
Strong organizational skills to oversee cleanliness initiatives, manage projects, and ensure timely execution of cleanliness-related tasks.
