🎯 General Job Description
🔹 Perform dimensional inspections on machined components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- 🔹 Conduct dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments and verify product conformity.
- 🔹 Record inspection results, prepare inspection reports, and identify non-conforming products.
- 🔹 Support quality control activities by ensuring inspection processes comply with company procedures and applicable quality standards.
🎯 Key Qualifications
🔹 Minimum High School or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
🔹 Minimum 2 years of experience in dimensional inspection of machined components (experience with API 6A products is preferred). Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
- 🔹 Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, symbols, notes, and revision status.
- 🔹 Good understanding of dimensional metrology, measurement uncertainty, inspection methods, and acceptance criteria.
- 🔹 Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including:
- Vernier Caliper
- Outside & Inside Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Dial Indicator
- Depth Micrometer
- Thread Plug & Ring Gauges
- Radius Gauge
- Bevel Protractor
- Surface Roughness Tester
- Profile Projector
- Hardness Tester
- Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is an advantage.
- 🔹 Experience in manufacturing or industrial Oil and Gas environments is preferred.
- 🔹 Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- 🔹 Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation.
🔹 Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment, with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
