Quality Inspector

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct Incoming Material Inspection (IMI) for SKT materials in accordance with established procedures and Work Instructions (WI).
• Read, understand, and comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.

Perform sampling, measurement, reporting, and analysis activities according to the Quality Plan and incoming material schedule. Ensure all parameters meet the applicable Quality Specifications or Certificate of Analysis (CoA), and report the results to the Line Manager.

Conduct visual and physical inspections within the assigned production areas according to the Quality Plan. Perform sample measurements in accordance with established procedures and ensure results meet quality specifications.

Inspect products supplied by third parties and determine product status in coordination with the Quality Manager. Communicate quality issues identified during production and follow up on corrective actions and improvements with third-party suppliers.

Maintain a clean, safe, and inspection-ready work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.

Ensure quality inspection and testing equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, documented, clean, and ready for use. Perform equipment cleaning according to SOPs and promptly report any equipment issues to the Quality Manager.

Coordinate with relevant internal departments regarding product disposition in accordance with GMP and applicable SOPs.

Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities, including maintaining essential quality documents such as Procedures, Work Instructions, Workflows, and other relevant documents in SharePoint, as well as supporting internal audits.

• Communicate regularly with the Quality Manager regarding QC and Continuous Improvement (CI) laboratory activities and status.
• Verify and validate QA test results prior to final approval.
• Monitor and manage laboratory and inspection consumables effectively to ensure sufficient availability.
• Actively participate in site quality initiatives and continuous quality improvement programs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in
• Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum
• 2 years of experience in Quality Control (QC), preferably within the tobacco manufacturing industry
• Good understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities and requirements.
• Knowledge of
• 6S and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Good command of
• English and Bahasa Indonesia
• , both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Willing to participate in factory-driven continuous improvement activities, including Gemba Walks and HSE initiatives.
• Willing to be based in
• Malang
• and travel for business purposes when required.
• Willing to be assigned outside the Malang area based on SKT production requirements.
• Willing to take on ad hoc assignments as required.
