Job Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantity (BOQ), and project budgets.
- Conduct quantity take-off based on construction drawings and specifications.
- Evaluate quotations and negotiate with contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and overall budget utilization.
- Prepare cost reports and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Review contractor progress claims and payment applications.
- Coordinate with Project, Design, Procurement, and Finance teams throughout project execution.
- Ensure all project costs comply with company standards and contractual agreements.
- Support tendering and vendor selection processes.
- Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum
- 3–5 years
- of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in retail, F&B, hospitality, or commercial fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, project costing, BOQ preparation, and contract administration.
- Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD (knowledge of CostX, PlanSwift, or similar software is an advantage).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Willing to travel to project sites when required.
