Job Description
The Regional Financial Controller supports the Group Finance team in overseeing the financial performance and governance of overseas subsidiaries. This role is responsible for management reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, reporting reviews, finance process standardization, and coordination with overseas finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with Group policies.
As the Finance Shared Services Center continues to expand, this position will play an important role in strengthening regional financial governance, improving reporting quality, and supporting strategic finance initiatives across the Group.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Auditing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Management Accounting, FP&A, Group Finance, Regional Finance, Financial Controlling, or related functions.
- Experience working in multinational companies or regional finance organizations is preferred.
- Experience supporting overseas subsidiaries or cross-border finance operations is highly preferred.
- Experience in IPO projects, external audits, or finance transformation projects is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Good knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with CAS or other local GAAP is an advantage.
- Understanding of internal controls, finance governance, and reporting processes.
- Knowledge of transfer pricing, treasury, or multinational tax environments is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Kingdee, or similar).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with overseas subsidiaries, external advisors, and headquarters.

- Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Review
Review monthly financial statements and reporting packages submitted by overseas subsidiaries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Group accounting policies.
- Monitor month-end closing progress across overseas subsidiaries and follow up on outstanding accounting issues.
- Prepare consolidated management reports, financial analyses, and business performance reports for Group management.
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Analyze financial performance, identify significant variances, and provide recommendations to improve operational and financial results.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor profitability, operating expenses, cash flow trends, and key financial indicators across overseas subsidiaries.
- Overseas Finance Management
- Coordinate with overseas finance teams, external accountants, and headquarters to resolve accounting, reporting, and finance-related issues.
Support overseas statutory audits, IPO-related projects, and other finance initiatives by coordinating information requests and monitoring progress.
Identify financial risks, operational issues, and reporting deficiencies across overseas subsidiaries, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
Finance Governance & Process Improvement
Assist in developing and implementing standardized finance policies, reporting procedures, internal controls, and finance SOPs across overseas subsidiaries.
- Support ERP implementation, finance system optimization, reporting automation, and data governance initiatives.
- Participate in finance transformation projects and continuous process improvement initiatives within the Finance Shared Services Center.

- Perform other finance-related duties and special projects assigned by management.
