We are seeking an experienced Research and Development Asst Manager and Supervisor to join our team at PT Seongsan International, a leading manufacturing and logistics company based in Tangerang, Banten. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in driving innovation and continuous improvement within our R&D department.

• Key responsibilities
• Assist the R&D Manager in planning, organising and overseeing research and development projects
• Supervise a team of R&D professionals to ensure efficient and effective project execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new product opportunities and enhance existing offerings
• Analyse market trends, customer feedback and industry best practices to inform R&D strategies
• Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping and testing to validate new product concepts
• Monitor project timelines, budgets and resource utilisation to optimise R&D operations
• Document and communicate R&D activities, progress and outcomes to stakeholders
• Support the implementation of quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop recipe for rubber compounding
• What we're looking for
• -Relevant bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field
• -5+ years of experience in R&D, project management or a similar role within the manufacturing/logistics industry
• -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• -Excellent project management, organisation and multitasking abilities
• -Effective communication and presentation skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• -Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
• -Knowledge of quality control methodologies and continuous improvement practices
