As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining operational excellence, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our establishment and upholding the high standards for which Aman Makan Lezat is known.

• Key responsibilities
• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including service quality, staff performance, and customer satisfaction
• Manage and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as local and international food safety standards
• Monitor inventory levels, control food and beverage costs, and manage purchasing to maximise profitability
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally to maintain guest satisfaction
• Implement and maintain restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimisation
• Maintain restaurant facilities and equipment, ensuring a clean and pleasant dining environment
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient order preparation and timely delivery
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract and retain customers
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure quality products at competitive prices
• Analyse sales data and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
• What we're looking for
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar hospitality management role
• Proven track record of successfully managing a restaurant or food service establishment with multiple staff members
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and financial controls
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Outstanding customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Indonesian, Mandarin, or other regional languages are advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and cuisine trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Familiarity with hospitality management software and basic accounting principles
• A flexible approach to work, including availability for weekends and public holidays as required
