Sales Admin

About the role

PT AT Oceanic Offshore (Batam) is seeking a Sales Admin to join our team in Batam, Kepulauan Riau on a full-time basis. This position plays a vital role in supporting our sales operations and ensuring seamless coordination between our sales team and clients. As Sales Admin, you will be the backbone of our sales department, managing administrative tasks that directly impact our ability to close deals and maintain strong client relationships. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be instrumental in driving the efficiency and success of our sales function.

• Key responsibilities
• Manage and maintain client databases and sales records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
• Prepare and process sales documentation, quotations, proposals and purchase orders
• Coordinate communication between the sales team, clients and internal departments to facilitate smooth transactions
• Schedule and organise client meetings, site visits and sales presentations
• Handle client inquiries and provide timely responses regarding products, services and pricing
• Process orders and monitor order status from placement through delivery
• Maintain sales reports and compile data for management review and analysis
• Assist with invoicing, billing and payment tracking
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry and correspondence
• Support the sales team with research and competitor analysis as needed
• What we're looking for
• Proven experience in sales administration or a similar client-facing administrative role
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Oracle
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks
• Professional manner and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Knowledge of the offshore or marine industry is preferred but not essential
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands
