About the role
As an Sales Engineer , you will play a vital role in driving the company's sales initiatives in the Batam Kota Riau Islands region. This full-time position requires an individual with a strong background in mechanical engineering to engage with clients, identify new business opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- What you'll be doing
- Developing sales strategies, including special promotions and campaigns
- Providing regular sales reports and updates to management
- Prospecting for new clients and generating sales leads through networking and market research
- Preparing and presenting sales proposals and pitches to potential customers
- Leading, motivating and managing the team to meet or exceed targets
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities
- Achieving individual and team sales targets and KPIs
- What we're looking for
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the engineering or Shipyard & Oil & Gas industry
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering principles and applications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal & Mandarin speaking ability is a strong advantage.
