Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and translate business data requirements into technical solutions, including data source analysis, data mapping, data transformation rules, and data validation.

• Hands-on experience in Data Platform initiatives and Cloud Migration projects.
• Proven experience leading technical initiatives and providing mentoring and guidance to junior team members.

Proactive and accountable in managing assigned tasks, including providing regular progress updates, coordinating with business users, following up on project deliverables, and proposing effective technical solutions.

Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Data Platform, including services such as AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, and other relevant AWS data services.

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar DevOps tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, Data Modeling, and Dimensional Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
• Experience with ETL/ELT development and data integration processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior experience in the Insurance industry will be a strong advantage.
