Support the oversight and continuous improvement of cabin safety through inspections, investigations, safety assurance, monitoring, and safety promotion activities. Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements while promoting a proactive safety culture and continual improvement of cabin safety performance.
Key Accountability
Ensuring cabin safety inspections and monitoring activities are conducted effectively and in accordance with approved programmes, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
Ensuring identified cabin safety hazards, deficiencies, findings, and non-conformities are accurately documented, reported, and escalated as appropriate.
Supporting the effective implementation, monitoring, and follow-up of corrective actions arising from cabin safety inspections, audits, investigations, and safety reviews.
Maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of cabin safety records, reports, and related documentation in accordance with Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
Supporting the collection, analysis, and reporting of cabin safety data to facilitate safety performance monitoring and continual improvement initiatives.
Promoting cabin safety awareness and supporting the implementation of safety programmes, campaigns, and safety improvement initiatives.
Sound knowledge of cabin safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and thorough understanding of cabin crew duties and responsibilities, aircraft safety and emergency procedures, safety equipment operation and location, and passenger handling practices.
Working knowledge of applicable aviation legislation and regulatory requirements, including the Civil Aviation Act 1969, Civil Aviation Regulations 2016, Civil Aviation Directives (CADs), CAAM notices, circulars, directives, and other applicable guidance material.
