- Job Role
- The
- Senior Farm Manager / Director – Integrated Modern Pig Farm
is a key site leadership role responsible for coordinating daily farm operations and ensuring smooth collaboration across production and supporting functions.
- The position will act as the central operational coordinator at the farm site, managing communication and execution between
- Pig Production, Feedmill, Warehouse, Maintenance, HRGA, Security, and Administration
- teams.
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader who understands
- commercial livestock operations
- , preferably with direct experience in
- pig/swine farming or other four-legged livestock operations
- Candidates with experience in
- poultry/chicken farming only will not be the primary target
- , as this role requires familiarity with the operational characteristics of four-legged livestock, particularly pigs.
- Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily
- pig farm operations
- across production and supporting departments.
- Act as the main operational liaison between Pig Production, Feedmill, Warehouse, Maintenance, Security, HRGA, and Administration teams.
Support workforce planning including manpower allocation, attendance monitoring, shift scheduling, onboarding, and employee discipline management.
Oversee site facilities including employee accommodation, utilities, sanitation, transportation, canteen operations, and general site services.
- Monitor operational documentation, reporting accuracy, inventory records, and administrative requirements.
- Coordinate stock movement, operational supplies, warehouse activities, and internal logistics processes.
- Ensure proper implementation of
- pig farm biosecurity procedures
- , security protocols, safety standards, and operational compliance.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers related to site operations and infrastructure support.
- Support implementation of operational systems, digital monitoring tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist management in tracking operational KPIs, workforce productivity, efficiency improvement, and overall site performance.
- Identify operational issues and coordinate solutions to minimize downtime and improve overall farm effectiveness.
- Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Livestock Management, Operations Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in livestock or large-scale site-based operations.
- Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in pig/swine farming.
- Candidates with experience in
- other four-legged livestock operations
- may also be considered, particularly if they have strong farm/site operational experience.
- Experience managing cross-functional coordination, workforce activities, vendor management, and general affairs operations.
- Strong understanding of SOP-based operational environments, biosecurity, and workforce discipline management.
- Experience working in remote farm, plantation, mining, camp-based, or other remote site operations is highly preferred.
- Strong capability in operational reporting, Microsoft Excel, inventory monitoring, and administrative control.
- Understanding of logistics coordination, facility management, and site operational support.
- Strong leadership presence with an ownership mindset, discipline, and proactive problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Basic English communication skills for reporting and corporate system usage.
