About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed QA Engineer who can own quality across manual, automation, and performance testing. You’ll work closely with engineers to make sure our systems hold up under real-world conditions — not just the happy path.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, edge cases)
- Build and maintain automated tests (API & UI)
- Run load and performance testing using k6
- Write clear, structured test cases and test plans
- Investigate bugs and support root cause analysis
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure end-to-end system quality
Requirements
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Highly detail-oriented — you don’t stop at the happy path
• Hands-on experience in
- Manual testing
- Automation testing (API/UI)
- Load testing (k6 or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of
- API testing (REST, webhooks)
- Basic database knowledge (PostgreSQL) for data validation
- End-to-end system flows
- Nice to Have
- Experience with payment or fintech systems
• Familiarity with concepts like
- Idempotency & retry logic
- Payment lifecycle (initiation → processing → settlement)
- Experience with tools like Postman and CI/CD pipelines
