Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in
- Civil Engineering
- (Mandatory).
- Minimum
- 5 years of experience
- as Budget Control, Cost Control, Quantity Surveyor, or a related position in a
- construction/contracting company
- Strong understanding of construction project execution and cost management.
- Proficient in preparing and controlling
- Budget Plans (RAB), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Cost Reports, and Project Cash Flow
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Familiar with tender processes, contract administration, and project budgeting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Data Analysis, and Reporting).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or ERP systems will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Willing to travel to project sites when required.
- Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze budget versus actual expenditures and identify cost variances.
- Prepare periodic cost reports, budget forecasts, and cash flow reports.
- Review project budgets, BOQs, Variation Orders, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement, and Finance teams regarding project cost performance.
- Ensure all project expenditures comply with the approved budget and company policies.
- Monitor material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs to maximize project profitability.
- Provide recommendations for cost optimization without compromising project quality.
- Prepare final cost reports and project cost evaluations upon project completion.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building, industrial, warehouse, infrastructure, or manufacturing construction projects.
- Familiar with SNI standards, construction methods, and contract management.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Accurate, or similar platforms is an advantage.
